We have just replenished our supply of Eleanor Soaps, especially stocking up on her wonderful handmade Irish and Celtic-themed soaps. The Belles of Ireland soap has a fantastic fresh scent and the Green Meadow Shea Butter soap is lightly herbal and moisture-rich. More varieties are available so stop by and check them out!

New Items - Avanti Greeting Cards

We just received a great selection of greeting cards for all occasions made by Avanti Press. Many of the cards have humorous animal themes. These cards were $2.50 each at an upscale floral shop in the northwest suburbs but we're offering them for $1 each or 6 for $5! The cards are on display in our back room.

New Artist - Barbie Girls

Barbie Girls give household accessories and handbags charm by embellishing them with vintage costume jewelry. We have a lovely collection of framed art, picture frames, plates, glass dishes and covered boxes along with handbags and purses. Each item is a one-of-a-kind creation and they make great gifts!

Mount Prospect French Market This Sunday!

Thymes Lavender Collection

We will be participating in this Sunday's Marche Francais, A Farmer's Market With A French Twist in Mount Prospect's Metra Commuter Parking Lot, Northwest Highway and Route 83. Hours are 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Available at the market will be a lovely selection of items from the store including handcrafted jewelry made with vintage components such as dress clips, belt buckles, glass beads and crystals, vintage costume and sterling silver jewelry and vintage household items such as glassware, pottery, wood, wrought iron and linens. Handcrafted soap and the Thymes collection of bath and body products will also be available for sale. We are the exclusive distributor of Thymes products in Mount Prospect. Stop by our booth for a free sample!

The French Market will be bigger and better this year with expanded French food and vendor options, hope to see you there!

Upcoming Art Show in Arlington Heights

This weekend (May 30-31) we will be participating in the Promenade of Art in Arlington Heights sponsored by Northwest Community Hospital. The show is in downtown Arlington Heights at the intersection of Vail and Campbell Streets. We will be in Booth #190 which is all the way on the west end of Campbell Street next to the Performing Arts Center booth. Hours are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day.

We will be presenting a fabulous assortment of dichroic glass jewelry and home accessories. Over 300 new pieces will be available, including the vintage collection of jewelry which features a combination of vintage costume jewelry components and dichroic glass. This collection will be introduced for the first time at the show.

Those unable to attend the show will be able to see the remaining new items at Brie's for one day only, Tuesday June 2.

This is our first time to participate in this show with the current promoter and are so excited to be a part of it! The weather outlook is beautiful and we look forward to not only sharing our art with a new group of patrons but also to let them know about our store.
